Stefan Messerknecht has been Spokesman of the hmmh Management Board since 2006. He is responsible for Sales & Corporate Communication, Software & Integration as well as Finance & Human Resources. In addition to these duties, he is an honorary member of the plenary assembly of the Bremen Chamber of Commerce and chairman of the committee there for Telecommunications and New Media. He is also actively committed to the Rotary Club Bremen-Weser.

Before joining hmmh, Stefan Messerknecht was the managing partner of the holding company at the Bremen systems house group Messerknecht and headed several subsidiaries. He is a Business Administration graduate and after his studies in Kiel he worked in the USA for two years.

Stefan Messerknecht was born in Bremen in 1963, is married and has three children.
