Bremen, May 8, 2012 – hmmh has won the pitch for designing the Versandapotheke Allgäu’s online shop with usability optimisation.
"The Versandapotheke Allgäu was taken over by APONEO, one of Germany’s largest online pharmacies, last year. Its website is now being reworked in terms of design and technology as part of a secondary brand strategy. aponeo.de was already redesigned by hmmh in 2011 – to the customer’s utmost satisfaction, as evidenced by this year’s new account.
“Our aim is to develop long-term partnerships. So we’re pleased to be creating a new look for the online shop of our customer APONEO’s new brand”, says Michael Rocker, Director of Sales & Corporate Communication at hmmh.
A long-term business relationship is also APONEO’s goal, as explained by commercial manager, Hartmut Deiwick: “We constantly need new designs and feel we’re in good hands with hmmh. The repeated partnership is ongoing, both for us and for hmmh.”
And successful – because only recently, ten online pharmacies were compared as part of a study conducted by Elmar/P/Wach eCommerce Consulting. APONEO, the clear winner, impressed with excellent functionality, usability and product display. And the Versandapotheke Allgäu was also rated positively in a comparison conducted in terms of savings and customer-friendliness at the end of 2011.
“Our claim of high quality should also be reflected in the user-friendliness of our secondary brand’s online shop”, explains Hartmut Deiwick, with Michael Rocker adding that “The target group is growing: According to BIT-KOM, one in six Internet users has already purchased something at a mail-order pharmacy.”
