Bremen, November 26, 2009 – On November 25 hmmh multimediahaus AG presented the E-Commerce Spot for the third time. In Frankfurt’s KochWerk top ranked participants discussed the latest business trends in added value through online marketing and in E-Commerce solutions, all under the title “ hmmh serves – E-Commerce in 7 dishes”. On the basis of case studies challenges of the E-Commerce in Germany were explained. The series of presentations was opened by Thorben Fasching, head of agency at hmmh multimediahaus AG, with the topic “Conversion rate in E-Commerce – marketing budgets placed efficiently”. Conclusion: the optimization of the own website assures twice as much conversion in comparison to the traffic acquisition. In the introduced example by Thorben Fasching the site optimization brought twice as much conversion and a higher return on assets by 114 percent. To reach the same effect through traffic acquisition a doubling of the used budget would be necessary.

How to generate “more conversion through search engine optimization” was explained by Jan Schweder of trafficmaxx. Jungstil and arvato services pointed out the necessity of strong partners for the success of business. The presentations of the companies Heiler Software and Pixelboxx completed the event with top-class guests.

Especially the lively discussions following the presentations were proof to us that the industry appreciates this form of exchange.”

The E-Commerce Spot is organized by hmmh multimediahaus AG in Bremen in frequent intervals. It is aimed at marketing and IT specialists from different industries who are interested in chances, strategies and solutions in the E-Commerce business.
