Easy and mobile check-in without having to wait interminably at the counter? The iPhone App was designed and developed by us and enables the mobile check-in for airberlin passengers. It allows the customers to experience the bargain flights with this innovative App and get the overview of all special offers.

Aim

Boarding in only three steps: Check in with your iPhone, choose your favorite seat and save the boarding pass on your phone. The app of airberlin should be intuitional and interactive. All important passenger and flight information are available via the mobile phone and enable the paperless flight. Different interfaces are needed for these processes.

Implementation

Mobile Check-in? With airberlin this is now possible quite easy via iPhone. The boarding pass is sent directly to the iPhone after the mobile check-in, including all relevant passenger and flight information. At the gate the barcode is simply read from the phone’s display. airberlin topbonus customers can log-in and find their future flights directly in the check-in area and can check-in up to 30 hours before departure.

airberlin customers find current flights at basement prices on the offer pages. The design makes using the offer pages for current bargain flights an interactive and vivid experience. The user-optimized graphical interface provides for easy use and intuitive navigation.

We employed, adapted and integrated existing interfaces during the development process. All interfaces have been user-optimized. However, the service doesn’t stop here. We guarantee continuous QSI coordination and adapt the iPhone app accordingly.
