Mission

The OTTO- daughter conquers Europe: the bonprix shop system was to be expanded to include further clients for 10 European countries. All e-commerce activities of the bonprix Group on one system platform had to be integrated. Simplifying short-term updating of price, presentation, compilation or special offers.

Objectives

The basis for all bonprix e-commerce activities is a unique shop system with a high degree of flexibility. Besides language adaptation of all parts of the system, such as navigation and product descriptions, it’s also possible to integrate country-specific methods of payment, terms of delivery or input fields. Furthermore, the shop should be flexible and have an emotional presentation of the bonprix product range.

Implementation

The system has a wide variety of database functions and allows connection of as many clients as desired. We technically customized the shop basis individually to the bonprix requirements. To accommodate an extension for ten additional clients, we consistently further developed the Java-based shop system. All of the customer’s e-commerce activities, production processes and working methods have been optimally integrated.

A tool specially developed for bonprix permits users to transfer articles, product lines or entire shops from one client to another quickly and efficiently. Once a client has been set up, the data is allocated to all other clients. After that only client-specific adjustments are necessary. That creates synergies between the shops, saves time and reduces costs.

We provide technical support to all bonprix online shops and constantly further develop the clients in a continuous process of communication with the customer. Therefore, it is possible to react and fulfill quicker and target-oriented the ever growing daily routines. bonprix’s online shops are very successful and further expansion is planned.

Mobile-Shop

Recently the mobile shop for all prevalent Smartphones was developed: We supported with the interface development (API) to facilitate front end implementation and to have optimized illustrations at the end devices. All functions like navigation, shop functions an translations were adapted.
