
As a new station group, heimatLIVE produces television programming every day for the regions of East Frisia, Lower Elbe and Oldenburger Münsterland. A homepage concept with a fitting user interface design was to be developed for the new online TV station so as to ensure a supreme user experience.
heimatLIVE tells stories that mean something to people, presents lovely villages, portrays people… The aim is to make heimatLIVE itself as varied as the lives of the viewers. It was therefore important to be able to address the target groups in the various regions individually.
We developed a homepage concept maintaining the fundamental structure of the heimatLIVE concept. Thanks to direct access to the heimatLIVE regions, every user gets only the information of interest to him or her – namely the broadcasts from his or her region.
Making use of the wireframes we developed as well as the front end concept, we created the graphic start and landing pages that served as the further basis of work on graphic and technical implementation of the website.
Up-to-date user prompting as well as consistent page ergonomics and navigation enable a supreme user experience. The interface design was also suitably designed so that media content is presented on the modern portal appropriately and prominently.
Various online marketing campaigns and Social Media activities serve as measures for publicizing the station group. The success of the campaign is thus based on the strategy of networking many channels to one another and profiting from dissemination effects.
