Mission

Design for Life. hessnatur, market leader in natural textiles in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, has planned a relaunch of its online shops. The relaunch will incorporate a graphic facelift as well as an upgrade of the technical platform. To cover the online shops in four countries - Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the USA, hessnatur needed a broad concept and a partner capable to implement it.

Objectives

The objective of the relaunch was to highlight the authentic character of hessnatur. This was achieved through a distinct and clean design which focused on its comfortable use and usability aspects. The objective of the relaunch was, to integrate the various features into the navigation and the design.

Implementation

The online shops present themselves now in a new distinct and clean design. This new design is a representation of hessnatur’s core message: design for life. The arrangement of the products and various features are easy to reach and navigate through.

With the help of FACT-Finder, the error-tolerant search and navigation solution for ecommerce, hessnatur customers are able to find the desired products quickly and easy. Spelling and typographical mistakes, changed word order and alternate forms are no longer a problem.

Colored boxes indicate the colors available. The complete product line is available in a XXL-view. In addition, the zoom viewer allows customers to zoom into the products and view them from different angles.

There is an additional section with customer ratings and a recommendation service where users are able to rate and comment on products.

Relaunched online shops are based on hybris software. A modern shop backend with a comfortable interface design is used for easy content management. In everyday operation, hmmh’s responsibility is the continuous monitoring and reporting. hmmh also guarantees quick response times and almost a 100% reachability of the server.

hessnatur baby

hessnatur also features a line for babies up to the age of one. The baby brand comes in its own distinct design in a separate section of the shop. In this section customers not only find the products, but also many useful insights and useful information about infants & babies.
