Re-establishing a traditional brand on the Internet requires creativity and brand understanding. Gebr. Heinemann SE & Co. KG formulated this challenge with their motto of “Modernity through tradition”, and hmmh understood it. By devising, prototyping and technically implementing the interface of the corporate website and careers portal with a responsive design, hmmh is responsible for a large part of the global player’s digital development.
The concept of the corporate website www.gebr-heinemann.de focuses on modern elements which adapt flexibly to the page design grid. The responsive design allows the site to be seamlessly displayed on end devices such as PCs, tablets and Smartphones. Passages of text and images consist of modules enabling the text to be displayed clearly in combination with large-format pictures. The joint aim was to provide new customers, business partners, journalists and job applicants with interesting content on the company’s history and innovations.
The developments in Gebr. Heinemann’s digital services were rounded off with the affiliated, separate careers portal, in which hmmh incorporated a web module of the e-recruiting system to facilitate a quick and easy job application. The careers portal also offers extensive information on Gebr. Heinemann as an employer.
